Life can be full, noisy, and emotionally demanding, especially when we are navigating change, stress, or uncertainty. In moments like these, having a place to pause and feel supported can make all the difference.
Nurture & Nourish Holistic Therapies is a gentle, supportive space where you are invited to slow down and feel safe in your body again. From this place of safety and care, holistic therapies are offered to support your emotional wellbeing and restore balance.
I welcome you to my beautiful Sanctuary in Mylor in the Adelaide Hills. It is a warm and inviting space where you can slow down and just be.
Hello, I am Jenny.
Welcome to my online home.
I have sat in the chair as a client and know what it feels like. I know the resistance that can come up, the fear and I even had nausea at times. I would even take my own large and thick tissues as there was often tears and snot. Something within me kept guiding me forward and once on the other side I could see it was all worth it. Being vulnerable in those moments and witnessed with compassion and care helped me find my courage and strength and most of all me.
I am now sitting in the chair as a holistic practitioner and I am passionate about supporting people to connect with their own uniqueness. I create a safe and nurturing space where I meet with you wherever you are in your life, and together we can see which process will suit you. I am based in the Adelaide Hills, and offer online appointments as well.

Stress
Is usually experienced due to an external event such as a big presentation at work or a big deadline that you are feeling under pressure to meet, maybe relationship issues. Usually once the ‘event’ is finished the stress dissipates. If the stress is continuing seeking support can be helpful.
Counselling, combined with restorative yoga and mindfulness, can help manage stress and promote well-being.

Feeling Stuck
You may feel you keep going over the same thing like going in circles, 0r you nay have looping thoughts and feeling confused as to the best way forward.
Counselling, journaling and mindfulness are great ways to connect with your inner world and find direction.

Anxiety
Can build up slowly making it hard to notice or it can come on quickly from an event. With anxiety you may notice you don’t do the things you used to enjoy. You may experience feeling fearful, tense, wound up and your thoughts might become obsessive or catastrophising to name a couple. You may experience panic attacks, racing heart and not sleeping well.
Counselling and restorative yoga has shown to be effective in supporting people with anxiety, along with mindfulness and lifestyle changes.

Trauma
Trauma affects everyone differently, shaped by past experiences, resilience, and support systems.
Counselling, journalling and restorative yoga are beneficial to your healing.

Depression
We can experience deep sadness at times but over time we notice there is a lightness coming back into our lives. Depression is experienced for longer periods of time and can at times feel heavy, and you may experience a sense of overwhelm and not wanting to go out and/or constantly tired.
Research shows exploring your thoughts, feelings and behavioural change helps. Practising meditation and mindfulness can provide peace.

Grief & Loss
The grieving process takes time to explore and work through all the layers and come to a place of peace. Through this process your uniqueness can be embraced.
You can be supported in your grief through counselling, restorative yoga, journalling and reflection.

If your compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete.
